In Naha Airport…

In other words, wala akong marinig. First thing after leaving the plane was to ride the bus up to the arrival area(which is funny kasi nasa other side lang sya ng next plane and we have to take a bus – For safety reasons of course). Pagkaapos bumaba ng bus, we filled-out a Quarantine Form (Basically a set of question of where have you been for the past months and what sickness have you had in that time). Then pumila sa quarantine inspector. Before you go to the desk of the inspector, you will have to stand in a certain are of the quarantine zone. If the measurement is hingher than what they designated as normal, punta ka sa clinic hora-mismo! hehehe… Nag-Nihongo sya sakin, wala akong naintindihan so tango lang ako ng tango. Pinalagpas nya naman ako. So next step is the Japanese Immigration Officers.

And the problem was…

We filled-out a form for the immigration. Then, like everyone else, lined-up to be interviewed. I went first kasi natapos agad yung form ko. So, deaf and all, the immigration officers were asking questions(Nihongo de): What will we be doing in Japan, so I said, “to work”. She replied, What is the company name? so I said the name. This is when all things got complicated, they don’t know the company. So they started asking where will we be staying in Naha, I said the name of the place, but she didn’t know the place because the address we had was not complete. We gave the phone number nung manager namin para tawagan nila. So hinanap nila. Habang nagkakagulo, they went ang got these papers, one set is in English and the other one in Filipino. We chose the Filipino set(syempre para madali)… Anak-ng-tsokwa!

May kasama pala kami naipit dun, dalawang Thai. Yung isa, marunong din mag Nihongo(Good for them!). So apat kami na-fill-out, tapos tinawag na lang ulit. We went out of that section first, sumunod na lang yung 2 Thai. We got our baggage(na nahilo na kakaikot dun sa conveyor) tapos xray. So same process, hubad lahat ng metallic habang kinakalikot nila laman ng bags mo. Hahahaha. Ok na kami, so we got in the arrivals section and there were the people patiently waiting for us.
